Ok, How do I put this in question form? I went to the dr. today and the cast is off my leg. I now have a walking boot. I am allowed to put 1/3 of myweight on my leg. so to do this I had to get on the scale, see how much I weigh and figure a third of it and practice pressing down on it scale until I got to the right weight. I did walk thru the house. I am very shaky right now. It is very very painful to put weight on these muscles that I haven't used in 7 weeks. My arms take the rest of my weight when I am stepping on my left leg and so my arms are very tired. In time, I will be good at it....right about the time he tells me I can put 2/3 weight on it. It is going to take me 3 months, he said before I will be able to walk without help and the boot.Needless to say, I was quite disappointed in hearing that. I knew it would take time, I didn't know it was going to take that long. My leg and foot are still very swollen and quite painful...however, I will take this pain and deal with it because at least the cast is off and I don't have to leve the boot on, I only need it when I'm going to walk.

Can you believe I'm going to go thru this for 3 more months??? :eek:

Yes you are right, and I am very happy the cast is off even though I don't like what I see when I look at my leg, it will get better. I hurt....a lot.

No handlebars, I didn't know you got tyour tongue pierced today. Did it hurt?

I've had better days girl. But I've had worse too. I got used to not hurting so much and now the pain is back, makes it hard to convince myself I'm getting better.

I heard from my step daughter that if the tongue is pierced in the right place, it doesn't hurt. I don't know. I think you'd have to know me out to put a ole thru my tongue. But that's me right?
