Rejected, but I'm sure I know why

I recently submitted, and had rejected, a story in two parts that was of a lady's fantasy.

I know the lady, she is real and so was/is her fantasy. Over years of listening to bits and pieces of her various fantasies, the story I submitted took shape.

Before the story, I commented that she was real, that her fantasies were real and it was her story ... all I did was write it down.

Apparently, the story was rejected because the reviewer got the impression that I did not write the story ...which then meant that they really didn't read it.

I wrote an email explaining this choice of words on my part, but do not expect to hear a reply.

No matter, really. She enjoyed it and it was her story after all.

Just another example of life's little frustrations ... and humor.

If you want the story posted, repost it with a note in the NOTES field saying that you are, indeed, the author of the story. This will flag it for a closer inspection by the editors/moderators. If it still gets rejected, send a PM (not an email) to Laurel explaining the situation. You should get a reply from her within a day or so.

To PM Laurel, find her name at the top of any of the "sticky" discussion threads, click on it and then click, SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE TO Laurel. Or, click on User CP, then click Send New Private Message, type Laurel in the "Recipient Username(s)" Field and type your message.

I cannot find any post or "sticky" with the name Laurel, but I do appreciate your taking the time to make a suggestion.

At the top right of this page. Under the "Welcome" your name in bold. Is there a "Private Message," underlined? If so, click on it. (If not, I don't know what the problem is with your screen). To send a message, type "Laurel" in the message recipient screen. The rest should be intuitive.

Do you have your private messages turned on? If not, someone else will have to tell you how to get that done.
