dunno who the fuck runs this site but youre all having a fucking laugh. my debut story rejected for the fucking tenth time or some shit. reason? Did I Spell Everything Correctly? !!!!!!!!!!!! well of course I fucking did, there's nothing wrong with it at all. All it is is a story about me fucking my aunt's big tits, the grammar and diction are fucking faultless man.

They don't usually reject things for spelling unless there really are misspellings. Email it to me or post it here and I will edit it for you.

If you address Lauren in that manner I cannot IMAGINE why your story would be rejected.

Did you email it?

If you submitted it on the site is it in a .txt format?

There are only a few stories rejected for proper grammar or mispelled words.

(Especially if you read some of the less than perfect editing jobs of some stories here.)

Box has offered his services, I would do the same if you like.

Sorry, Sweetsubsarahh but I have found that this is not the case.

I have a story sitting in the rejected pile which has been submitted 6 times and rejected 6 times with the same message.

My final attempt at submitting the story involved me having it proofread and edited by a english literature professor friend of mine at the University of Michigan.

Even being proofread, edited, and ran through the spell check program used at this big ten school; my story was rejected!

I guess having an editor with 25+ years experience helping you still isn't good enough to get your stories posted at Literotica!

It's funny how my first 14 story submissions had little trouble in being posted. As for #15; it was posted 3 hours after I submited it to another site.

It has no underage sex or violence which would warrant it being rejected.

Needless to say; I don't even try to post my works here any more! There's just too many hoops to jump through to get them submited to the site.

Not for nothing, but I had a heck of a time getting one of my stories accepted. I edited, re-edited, had folks proofread it IRL, whined, screamed and complained. Finally, one of the volunteer editors here offered to help me and gently pointed out that I had smartquotes throughout my text. ANY story, however Pulitzer-worthy will be rejected for having smartquotes.

See, I can write pretty well. I'm just lousy at following instructions.

Got rid of the Smartquotes, and it was accepted in no time. It might be worth having one of the locals go through it, to make sure it not only conforms to English grammer rules...but also to the submission guidelines.

My first story was rejected because it was in the wrong format. And another story wasn't posted the way I wanted because I did the italics incorrectly. (I submitted an edited version - no problem.) My last story posted fairly quickly, by the way.

By your own admission your other 14 stories were accepted without problem.

But now this site is crap because #15 didn't get through?

I would agree.

Even a brief perusal of submissions (and usually some of the lower ranked stories) will demonstrate how poor grammar doesn't prevent acceptance.

There are specific rejection notices; perhaps there is some error in the default system?

At any rate, it's useless to bitch about something unless you've attempted to correct the problem.

Consistent errors.

In order for a story to be rejected for things like spelling or punctuation errors, they must be noticeable at a glance.

Literotica rarely rejects for grammatical errors due to the nature of fiction and the international group of authors, however, it can and will do so if the grammar is sufficiently difficult to read.
