Reject non-Erotic stories posted to Loving Wives

There is currently a war going on between the BTB authors and their followers and the Hot Wife crowd and their followers on Loving Wives. I suppose everyone could just get along in an ideal world but I don't think that's going to happen. Here's a comment I got on one of my Hot Wife/Shared Wife stories today. "1*
Another illiterate WHORE posting cuck shit.

It's not the worst either. We (authors of Loving Wife erotic stories) get comments like: "Diseased Whore," "Stupid Cunt," "Eat shit and die" every day. Any story about a wife having sex outside marriage gets this kind of abuse. Their goal is to drive erotic authors off Loving Wives and it's working. I've noticed many authors posting erotic hot wife stories have started posting in other categories where they get thoughtful, meaningful, constructive comments instead of hate. Other authors are just getting discouraged by the venomous comments and stop writing.

It would be easy for webmasters to stop this war. Simply reject BTB stories that have no erotica in them. Advise these authors, some of whom are actually quite good writers, to repost in Non-Erotic. Their followers who post all the hate comments would follow them and leave Loving Wives to authors of erotica.

You have two options. Simply delete the comments if they upset you, or as you said some were doing, put your stories somewhere else to avoid the nest of vipers.

But you are right, if a story has no erotic content it does not belong in a category aimed as a specific fetish.

The author should know that, but are playing games to tweak the other factions and unfortunately the site's 'screening' process is virtually non existent. Its one person trying to get 75 or so stories a night posted so they're barely getting a glance.

My suggestion is when you see one of these, there is a report button at the bottom of the last page. Report it and put the reason as it should be in another category and give it a couple days to see what happens.

Going further BTB stories are violent, sometimes way over the top violence to the wife and lover of the wife and if there is no erotic content to even try to justify it being on lit, the truthfully they should be banned because they're breaking the rule about violence and torture here, but again....these are not looked through.

I think this will only chnage if it gets to a point where the site is seeing a large drop on stories posted there and a decrease in hits from readers. Maybe that will make then clean it up.

Truthfully at this point the majority of the category is more fitting to asstr these days than lit.

This. Personally I'm overjoyed that LW is the lightning rod that draws most of the sites negatively charged assholes, leaving the rest of the categories in peace. I don't write in LW and my comments are almost uniformly positive.

The divorce/marriage ratio in the US is around 50%. (Note that doesn't mean that half of all marriages end in divorce.) In the US we're comfortably over 1,000,000 divorces a year. I doubt even the majority of those are amicable separations. There will never be a lack of people who are hurt, furious, and coming to hasty conclusions about the other gender, marriage and sexual fidelity.

And here's a category that's full of stories about wives either way hotter and better than their ex, or wives just like their lying, cheating ex. Now take that bitter divorcee and mix in the random misogynists, people who hate socioreligious institutions and a few generic psychopaths who have settled in for the duration, and settle them next to people who for whatever reason want their wives screwed by other guys, and what do you expect? It's a stupid category that attracts angry people and rubs salt in their wounds.

LW should have been split years ago; there should be a Sex&Revenge category, and a Cuckold category for those unimaginable people who like that. It can't happen now, as someone would have to go through all of LW and recategorize, and that's not happening.

I read it. It's good writing and deserves the high ratings. I did like that fact that none of the characters did any violence or really any kind of punishment to other characters. So, in that respect it's not typical BtB. However I still say it belongs in some category for non-erotic stories because if there was any erotica in it I must have not read it carefully enough. Did you intend for it to be an erotic story? It doesn't seem so. That's not bad in and of itself and, as I said, you wrote a good story. However the way things have gone in Loving Wives lately, non-erotic and erotic stories can't seem to co-exist peacefully in that space. I wouldn't report your story as wrong category however because it's not cruel. It's relatively harmless and fun but still I would rather see such a story posted somewhere other than Loving Wives, because of the lack of erotic content.

I scan LW every day looking for stories that interest me. If they don't, I move on. I probably read two or three a week in that category so I have a pretty good idea what's there. I also read most comments on stories I read or stories I write. I have the choice of deleting comments about my own stories if I want. So do you.

I don't think that any category should be designed as a "safe place" to write. If you're uncomfortable with strong reader reactions to controversial themes such as yours involving cheating, cuckoldry, wife sharing, you might want to consider writing about randy unicorns in another category instead.

If something offends you on an adult site, and you have the ability to walk way, you probably should. You aren't required to post in LW, and you don't seem to have the temperament for it.

Spend more time on writing stories in categories you enjoy, and less time chastising commenters in italic intros to your stories.

Granted I didn't say it was a parody, would have taken the fun out of it and I knew I'd catch crap so it didn't bother me, but I was amazed how few realized it was not a serious story.

But I guess when you're that blinded by hate for a particular thing, you can't see much.

Funny because the area where I have that issue in real life....most of the readers there would fall into. It would interesting to meet some of the trolls there and see the reaction when they realize they found someone who feels about them the way they feel about women and cucks and the women's boyfriends, etc...

Yesterday I deleted two books I bought, by authors I love (George V.Higgins and Robert Crais). The books suck. I wasted $20, but it just shows that best selling writers produce crap, too.
