Thanks hon... I am going to take the day off of work on Monday and go up and go to her Dr. appt. with her. Found out what she had - Pseudomonas is not a good thing at all... and very likely it will never completely leave her system and could be VERY VERY BAD. But forcing myself to be positive.

AJ ~ Your mom is so lucky to have you. Dr. appointments can be scary. I hope they give you some information on how to proceed going forward. Tips for the flu season, what to look for symptom-wise for managing this, when to go back to the doctor, etc., etc. I do dearly hope mom is able to kick enough of this to keep it in the background where it causes no further troubles for her. I will keep the two of you in my thoughts on Monday - hoping for the best!!

I did... I went, I shopped, I survived. And I still say I need to shop with AJ - because either I'm missing something or my body was engineered by aliens and that's why most of the human clothes will not fit me.

Regardless, I still managed to spend $150 and the receipts show that I should be mollified by the fact that I saved an additional $260 on my purchases.

I now await my subsidy.
