sometimes i look back at decisions i've made and wonder how my life would be if i'd chosen differently.

i'm not even talking about the big stuff (but of course those count to). i'm talking more about things like: choosing athletics over PE in middle school.

am i the only one that does this? what are some decisions, big or small, that you second guess?

*edited b/c i regret my lack of spelling skills

Every goddamn thing. I regret not getting into sports. I regret not trying harder in my classes. I regret dropping out. I regret getting involved in D&D. I regret letting my life turn into what it has.

I regret troll hunting. I am officially done with it.

Troll away. I don't give a shit.

second guessing, I think, is different than regretting, and has to do with your psychological make up.

I second guess everything I do, but I've never regretted anything. My choices make me who I am.

However, that said, I do wonder who I would be if I hadn't made certain choices. If I'd followed my need and want and desire instead of only doing what I thought I was "supposed" to do at the time.

On second thought, I'd probably be dead.

I believe we all make the choices we're supposed to make.

I second-guess my decisions, but I regret my actions (or inaction). A small distinction, maybe. *shrugs*

I've done things, acted certain ways that I sincerely regret. That regret is useless unless you act and learn from it.

I hope I am now.

It's only natural to speculate, or to look back with knowledge acquired in between, but I think to call them "regrets" is too strong.

The only thing I regret is having hurt people in relationships, either intentionally or accidentally.

you're right..the title is a little misleading...it's not really about regret..it's more about thinking about how the little decisions we make really do make us who we are.

Ok, if I'm gonna have that song running through my head all night long now, so are all of you. :D

Regrets, I've had a few........ but I did it my way......

I used to do the 'I wish I had... What If' thing but not anymore.

I don't have enough time to spend on regrets, just enough to
enjoy what I have.

Yep, what he said!!

I have a few........

But then I realize that if I change them then I wouldn't be the person that I am...... I like the person I am, I think.
