Hello,
I am one of the chat admins for the chat. (I am only a chat admin...if you need help with the forums or anything regarding the forums...I cannot do anything about that.)
Also we cannot fix any kind of issues anyone has with the chat.
Ignore function not working? Sorry to hear that and I hope the tech gremlins stop being assholes about it.
You can't log into chat? We are happy to look to see if you are banned and if you are not we will run some codes and see if it can be fixed BUT! if that does not work...again sorry to hear that.
Keeping getting booted? That's unfortunate. Try having a direct connected wired connection or perhaps try not to browse outside of Lit if you are on wireless (mobile or wireless on a tablet or laptop)
All of the issues you have with any of the above issues...we have asked about getting fixed until we are blue in the face...As mods we cannot fix them. We do not have access to the coding that is needed to do anything about them other than to offer our apologies and grit our teeth because this is literally the 100th time we have been asked or told we need to fix it.
We have no control over any of this. In anyway...in any form...so coming to us stamping your feet saying fix it! will be met with a glassed over stare and again one of us telling you we can't and if you insist on being any of the following options:
An asshole accusing us of lying
Whining "but whyyyyyyyyy?"
Or offering us something to fix it for you (says through gritted teeth. "We.....can't!")
You could be booted for acting like an asshole...acting like a child or simply we will stop responding because again...for the 4th time in this thread alone WE CANNOT FIX THIS!|
thank you for your continued chattership with lit but while mods have some powers in that such as banning or booting we cannot change the fundamentals of how the chat works (or in some cases does not work) While we would dearly love to fix it...again...we cannot.
