Reflections on Gentleman Doms

Any man can grab a women by her hair

Sure he can tie her up, call her a “bitch” or a “slut”

There's quite a bit about the Gentleman Dom on this thread. Go figure, it's about Gentleman Doms.*

As I posited in an earlier a post, to me, exercising my learned skills and behaviors as a Gentleman are first and always have been. I know I'm not perfect with it. I do well enough.

It's not a contest though, you know? Neither is being a Dom. Though if you read enough and speak enough about it, one might think it is, which is absurd, of course.

Just want to say a few words about what may be the flipside Gentleman Doms.

What I have read about most recently is about the Warrior Princess. ( Yet another label! :rolleyes:) I'll say a little about her first and provide a link....

She is the one who understands his self possession. His choice of being a Gentleman. She can live quite well without it, but, instead thoroughly enjoys his manner. She can see him, he is not pretentious.

It is a sign of respect. Respect for self and others. He is also no doormat and it shows. His traits are many and varied and he expresses himself well through them. He is and always will be himself.

In time, with the mutual building of trust, friendship, and desire, it may seem as if it were a natural thing for their D/s proclivities to unfold together. Each tasting the other, eventually discovering a richness in sharing with each other through many levels. Friendship, lust, care, desire, comfort, creativity, everyday things, and more.

I can say more, but then it would sound so much like a lecture, and that's not how I want to sound.

For myself, I find the idea intensely and mysteriously erotic in that twisty swirly kind of way of being that flipside dominant to a warrior princess' submissiveness.

She who bends to no one and takes on the world so effectively and yet, will join with me in exploring this side of ourselves. To hear her tiny whisper of a voice speak louder than her loudest yell of outrage
