The one that I really *hate* is when people who are taking personal details from ask "what was your name?"

I always reply "my name *is*...".

Just me being anal, I guess, but it bugs me.

Here's a redundancy that annoys the hell out of me:

irregardless.

the prefix "ir" and the suffix "less" mean the same thing in this case, making this single "word" redundant, not to mention idiotic.

This isn't redundant, but it's another grammatical pisser offer for me.

Example:

"I would choose the girl that likes red."

Should be:

"I would choose the girl who likes red."

Drives me even crazier when I catch myself talking like that. AARRRRGGGGHHH!!!
