So far so good. Just working... I got to tell some lady that 50 shades is a lot like a really long Penthouse letter and talked her into getting something else. My good deed is done for the day...

Mmm, bread you say? I haven't had homemade bread since i was like 12. I bet it's divine :)

I make it often and love it. I have dust on my bread machine, and make it by hand with the exception of the Kitchen Aid mixer that mixes it for me (thank god!). :D

It feels good to do a good deed doesn't it. :)

Have to admit, some warm home made bread would taste real good right now. Always loves the aroma

I agree, the aroma is wonderful. The taste is amazing and so much better than bagged bread from the big companies. I've got 30 rolls done and split for sandwiches tomorrow and need to make another 30 before I'm satisfied that I have enough for the masses that are coming tomorrow. And if there are leftovers, it's BREAD - who cares!! :D

Indeed. :)

I hope karma gets me back one of these days lol.

Lol I can't imagine how tedious it would have been to make bread back
In the times before shiny kitchen appliances! :p

It all comes down to getting back to basics and puttng away machines and devices. I have a bread machine too and made two loaves, one by hand and one by machine. Hands down, the hand made one was way better tasting. I refuse to eat anything prepared and packaged and always buy the freshest of meats and produce.
I feeling like a Suziehomemaker sometimes, but it really does make a difference to put in the extra effort. Healthwise, there's no comparison.

A total of 60 rolls of bread. As much as I hate the phrase OMG. Now that takes some commitment hun, and quite alot of space to let all that cool down. I'm assuming you must have quite the event tomorrow, hope you've got good weather for it.

Hello there. :)

I have not today, but I am sure she's resting. I know I would be and the computer would sadly be the last thing on my mind.

hiya. :)

oh absolutely.... just hoping she didn't end up with a concussion or anything... she's married right? She's not home alone?

If she's followed my advice, she's in bed, resting, hopefully a rolled towel around her neck for support and someone taking very good care of her.

I know our thoughts and prayers are doing their job in helping through it.:rose:

:) she's going to be so stiff and sore for days to come. :(

It will, don't worry. :D

I've done the bake a cake over a campfire, pretty fun. :D

It does, but I love to bake, so it's okay. I have enough counter space, since I cleaned it. :D It's my eldest daughter's graduation tomorrow.

She's not home alone and I know she will be touched when she learns of your concern.

Good evening!

How was everyone's day?

Evening and hello - I'm on my second break (again - ?) - the second batch of bread is made and now has about an hour and half to rise, before I start working with it again. I'll be placing sugar cookies in the oven and fluttering back and forth to Lit. again.

Hiya you sexy crazy man!

What are you getting into trouble today?

I haven't done a thing all day. I barely wrote 500 words and couldn't be bothered so I closed it off. No one here to play with, so it's been rather lonely. How was your day? get all the chores done?

Sugar cookies? OMG. I want some!!!

Why did I think it was tonight the party?

I had one chocolate chip one stick (sorta) to the pan, so I had to eat it.

I don't know. lol -- It is tomorrow - graduation at 2:00 party afterwards until around 6. Though I'm sure some will stay longer.

Drool.. I'll take sugar cookies any time.

You got the guest of honor working her booty off for the party?

Not really. lol Believe it or not there wasn't much more that needed to be done around here. Spouse made and hung the signs. I did the cookin'. The kids took care of their rooms. There may be some dust bunnies that need wiped away. But in truth, too many cooks in the kitchen will test this redhead's patience.

You brought memories back of mine. My mom made me clean and wash for days. Everything had to be perfect. She was freaking out more then I was!
