Afternoon, I dared myself to sit down for a minute.
A quick word to all --- I don't care if you harass folks on other threads that you believe to be stalkers, that's your business and it's your right and I guess it's your right to come here and tell folks you're harassing others, however I would ask that you not do that. Please don't come here and tell me (because I do read the posts) that you've been off harassing people. Really --- are you now any better because you did it to? I don't think so. If you want to harass someone, that's your right, but keep it in the thread you're doing it in, don't bring the trouble here.

As of 2:50 this afternoon. I have one of the 3 cakes made. I have 30 of the 60 rolls baked. I have the pork cooking and the BBQ sauce made. The brownies are finished as well. I still have a lot to do, but because I only have one oven, I get to sit while things are baking. I also got 12 c. of buttercream frosting done.
I still need to do chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies, as well as more rolls, cole slaw, broccoli salad. I don't think I'm forgetting anything.

I understand needing to vent, I do and I am all for venting. I just don't want to be told "hey I harassed so and so" - if you harassed them, okay - others saw it I'm sure. I don't need to know about it.

Meh. I've seen better. Maybe a nice bowl of Kreploch soup and Matza balls, maybe not, who knows. I think I need to go to buy something wholesale to make me feel better, I don't know, certainly not the putz next door, whining about everything, oi vey, I need this, I need that. God forbid he should ever get anything, then he'll be going on and on about what he has instead. I think it's time to get my Depends changed. "Moira, Moira, forget the sandwich already and come here, bring a new diaper." We'll talk later, we'll talk, we'll talk. "Moira, the diaper already....."

I've been baking so much I forget to eat. If it wasn't for the fact that I had promised to take the kids to the flea market, I wouldn't have had eaten. But we got there, walked around and then suddenly it was stomach growling time.
I lost 3 hours of cooking time, but it was worth it to spend some down time this weekend with the kids.

That's true quality time spent and worth every moment.
I agree. They had fun begging me for goats, lizards, birds, hedgehogs, puppies, cats, kittens, dogs, donkey, and lord knows what else. I came home with a $1.00 pair of shoes for the son to see if they'll work for band, and a $2.00 Nascar Winston Cup License plate. Fun stuff.
If she's followed my advice, she's in bed, resting, hopefully a rolled towel around her neck for support and someone taking very good care of her.
I know our thoughts and prayers are doing their job in helping through it.
