LMAO, "can I interest you in another bread poduct then sir" did you ever see the one where they fight the curry monster, I loved that one, or the one where Kryten becomes human and try's to plug himself in to recharge and can't understand why the plug keeps falling out of his ass...!

I only have 34 seconds left...ASK ME A QUESTION...

:p

"SMEEEEEEEEEE"
"Come on Kryten you can do it"
"SMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG"
"Come on man"
"SMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD"
"Come on I know you can do it"
"SMMMEEEEEGHEEEEEEEEEEAD"

Mig,
Is this from that episode. That explains a lot. Thank you for your detailed explaination. Oh, and btw, I hope you didn't think I was serious, when I said that I hated the British, on that Sean Connery thread. I was only joking. I have several British friends, and that is why I made the joke. :) No hard feelings?

GR no offence taken,I was pissed off that morning, otherwise I wouldn't have bitten.Love that picture,I did get the cap wrong though.

Cool. :)

You were close enough, about the hat. He looks outrageously funny.
Man I wish I knew when this show is on, here in the states. Ah, well. I have to go to the grocery tonight, so I will find out while I am there. :)

Todd say's PBS and you might also try looking at BBC USA if you can get it, just a thought.

Well, I think we get CBC, and definately PBS, but I don't have a listing guide, because I am not a television watcher. I just need to go have a run through the TV Guide and the grocery store. :)

you need to watch some of the stuff we get, try to see "Men behaving badly", try to see the UK version on BBC USA as it's much better than the US version which they tamed down as not to offend a US audience, or "Red Dwarf" or a host of other shows that kick ass.
Unfortunatly most Americans seem to think that the last good comedy show to come out of the UK was Monty Pythons Flying Circus, we've moved on and done a lot since then...:)

I have seen "Men Bahaving Badly" and I couldn't get past the bad teeth enough to give the show a chance. I just didn't want to be impressioned with that kind of imagery of the British peoples.

I am a huge AbFab fan. They took it off Comedy central, after they ran the hell out of the reruns. I miss that show!

I loved it when they were in Morocco with Safi, and they sold her off into slavery! Too funny.

Name some others if you can think of them..

Oh, there's "Keeping up Appearances" on PBS, but that got old. Hyacinth Bucket! HA.

Have you ever seen the "Brittish House of Commons" skit on Saturday Night Live? ...Now I know that there is the chance that you may take offense......

but.......

"Tinky Winky, Toodle de do! Let's go watch the Teletubbies!"

"I think Oasis is the Best band EVER!"

you could try renting it on video, that way you can really study it..

Ahh, now that is an Idea. For a second there I started to get whiney and pouty, thinking I've been jipped.

Now, just have to find an open minded Video store, that will carry it.
???????

The best part is that not only are all the episodes on video but you can also get two video's of the out takes as well called "The Smegup's" video's 1&2.

Right. I will surely check them out. I am really up for this kind of fun. I am glad they are on video. I would rather enjoy them at my own pace. Not that of a tv station. I sometimes get so in the mood for a run of fun, I'll watch 10 South Park episodes or Have and I, Claudius Marathon and give the time I've wasted no thought or worry!

man I loved "I Claudius" I can remember watching it on TV as a kid with my mum, she let me stay up late to see it and then straight to bed after cause there's school in the morning...:)

Videos.Get Red Dwarf 1,The End,Byte 1.This has the original pilot which was never repeated on TV.

Thank you mig, I 'll see that one first. :)

Outty, I have loved that series for years. I think it is John Hurt as Caligula, that really had me in a trance the first time I saw it, but then I began to just become enveloped in the story itself, and I could spend hours watching it.
I just upgraded from the VHS collection to the DVD. It is nice to be able to hit pause right when ever I want to see the detail in the background or what ever. Clear as day! Ahh, I love it. Wish I could have you over for a veiwing marathon. We'd snack on Oreo's and other American crap you've never had, and watch to our hearts content! :)

Maybe I could get in the kitchen and make us some sausage meat ball pasta for dinner and a bottle of red wine..;)

I thought...

that Red Dwarf was a kind of beer.... maybe that's red dog... not sure. But I know all about black dwarves and white dwarves, and all that astronomy stuff!

None of you americans ever watched 'The Fast Show'?
Probably the funniest thing on British TV in the last couple of yrs methinks...
