I'm slogging my way thru a book of short stories recommended to me by a kind soul. Its awful. I'm bored outta my skull.

So I thought about it, and concluded that its rotten because I cant relate to the principle characters. Its like watching Mummers parade or Shriners; I don't get either of them. So maybe its me.
