Any suggestions? I'd like to find a site where they categorize them by genre...looking for older movies at bargain prices.

Danke.

Anime is a big money maker so that's why it's so prominent. It's not that it's a particularly large niche, but the fans are particularly rabid.

Now I'm wondering if anyone would go to a war movie convention.

The online rentals are pretty cool if you don't want to buy. No late fees and the return package already has postage. You fill up the Queue with your choices, and when one is returned, they get the next one on the list in the mail.

Bitte.

You HAVE to buy `The Last Waltz`, StrangeLove - we got it about 10 min. after the DVD/surround box! it is amazing.... I presume you're old enough to appreciate. :D

Your own movie on DVD would be groovy - esp. Slim riding the bomb scene ROFLMAO.

PC, have you considered Netflix? They have a free two week trial. If you want any info lemme know. Ive been doing it for about 4 months now and consider it a bargain way to see many films.

If purchasing, rather than rentals, is what you are looking for I tend to stick with amazon. i look all over for info and pricing but I can usually put together my order at amazon for the same price and their service is top-notch. Remember they have free shipping on most orders now so that saves you anywhere from 5 to 15 dollars.

Another thing, though offline, is that I was at KMart a few weeks back and found a Hitchcock DVD for $2.50 in a bargain bin they had. The bin was all older films or B-grade horror/action movies but for 10 bucks you could have 4 movies worth a look. Of course I'm one cheap motherfucker, so.
