1. babies.
2. babies.
3. more babies.
4. it isn't, but it can result in babies.

summation: we don't need anymore goddamned babies. i need my fucking space. yay gay people! they don't (generally) make babies!

empty space is good. there's just not enough of it.
Ah, but not just an empty space. An empty space INSIDE something not-so-empty.

letting my thread die just encourages them to make more babies. don't let the babies win!

Homosexuals can make babies. Haven't you ever heard of methods like artificial insemination?

HALLELUJAH! I'm glad somebody finally stood up and said it! And all that artifical baby making should be outlawed! As a matter of fact, there should just be no more people! That way I don't have to worry about the kids walking out to the school bus every morning. I swear they are trying to jump infront of my car!

also, read the first post and look up the definition of the word generally and then pratice using it in a sentence.

i agree with everything you just said except the no more people part. personally i feel that we'd only really need to get rid of about six billion of them and we'd be cool.

2) I chose to ignore it since it isn't necessarly true. Lots of gay people marry before they accept their homosexuality. Also I don't know what percentage of lesbians choose to have children, so I don't know if "(generally)" should apply. There seemed to be lots of lesbians with children when I visited P-town.

4) Maybe you just need to have a baby and then you wouldn't have something against them. Just think, they might grow up and agree with your ideas. Isn't it better to have someone to agree with than someone to argue with?

6) Finally, daddies tend to be better in bed. So what if they had to leave momentarily to check on the children. In fact, that was rather endearing.

None2, sweetie, where are you from? I'm curious just cause i generally call Portland Oregon P-town, and i'm in Euegen right now. thought it might be amusing if you were actually talking about the same place!!

I also wanted to say i've ready quite a few of your responses recently, and i wanted to let you know i thought they showed alot of insight and intelligence. I enjoyed reading what you had to say, and what your thoughts were.

At any rate, to comment on this thread - I Love babies! I want babies! How could you say no more babies! But, i should admit that my health is so bad im considering adoption rather then pro-creation for myself - there are plenty of children out there still in need of loving families. :nods sagely:

Be well :)

I'm from the dead center -- Dorothy's country.

I thought it was universal that P-town was Provincetown, MA -- on Cape Cod. It is a very gay area. I happened to stay at the youth hostel there one weekend in Oct about 4 years ago. It was a very interesting town. There was some Chinese guy in the same dorm room as me, he was SO shocked. Unfortunately, in kind of a bigoted way. I was a loner, so he just assumed I was str8 and should be shocked too. I just acted as though it was just part of the American experience. Something tells me he will never go back. There is a beautiful tower there that I loved seeing. It was also interesting to see a world where gay's were the majority. (Some gay guys might not like it because it is 90% ladies. Correction, the weekend I stumbled into P-town surprisingly was Womyn's week [spelling]. To me that is kind of sad if some gay guys wouldn't like it there. One's gender shouldn't matter in a social setting as there is more to life than surrounding yourself with only people you are attracted to.) The other great part of my time there was that I took a boat trip out about 20 miles to see Humpback whales. It was a beautiful experience to see something that you won't see in my part of the country. The main draw back I saw in P-town was just so much redundancy in the shops. How many rainbows, gay t-shirts do people need.

I appreciate that you enjoy reading what I say. I figure I better say something of some value before I leave this world. I just speak my mind -- I just wish I had the same desire to get my home work done. (I'm FAR from college age, but because my field is being outsourced I've been tempted to think of another field. I'm thinking of vet school, but I must admit that I would be a member of AARP before I got out of it if I do go that route. However, someone once said I'll be that age whether I do or not, so I should go for it if that is what I want. So for now I'm just dabbing in science classes.

I would warn you that lots of times you will find me in left field. I think I mentioned in one post that we all have hot button topics where we get more emotional than rational. Or maybe a better term is just inflexable...

For instance, I have very little tolerance for recreational drug use. I cannot fathom anyone messing with their mind. I know that brain cells do not re-generate. I have also seen mental illness in my family, so purposely distorting reality to any extent with drugs seems so stupid (to put it lightly). Some say it does little to no damage -- why even risk it? I get a lot of flack on my beliefs because some people (including some gays) put recreational drug use in the same catagory as gay rights -- freedom for your own body. I realize that the government cannot always play the role of the benevolent parent -- we wouldn't want them too. Yet at the same time, I cannot see legalizing more stuff that isn't good for us. Anyway, when the topic got hot in my town, I got a lot of flack for being ignorant. Granted I really didn't know all the history behind drug use, but it doesn't change my opinion. So this is one example of where I just don't bend.

On the subject of babies. I always wanted to have kids. Unfortunately, I'm not that fertile, so it just won't happen. I do wish some gay's would stop mixing reproduction with sexual preference. Just because I'm attracted to my own sex, doesn't mean I didn't want to reproduce -- and I don't mean just adoption. I don't have designer genes, but I did want to continue the line.

My substitute is our animals. We have a calico named Rhoda, and a dog named Sasha. I'm proud to say that we got them from the humane society. If I had a larger yard and house, I'd consider more. I know they aren't human, yet at the same time if it isn't love that they give you it sure seams like it.
