I have to try downloading the programme again myself. I reformatted my harddrive (with help) a little while ago. Took the ReadPlease2002 off at that time. So I downloaded the 2003 last night. When I went to get it installed and running, it told me a file was corrupt. So I have to redo it. grrr

(I think it was because my daughter jumped on the pc just as it was finishing and started chatting with dozens of her minions on msn messenger.)

Hmm There appears to be a fault with that particular program. I have downloaded it twice from ZDnet, both times a source file was corrupt. I'm looking now to see if I can find either a) a different version, or b) a different site.

Will post a link if I find one, or if anyone else has a link to an okay version, feel free to post it here. The ReadPlease 2002 was a very good program.

uh-oh

I got the same message about the corrupted file and couldn't finish the installation. Definitely a ZDNet prob. Anyhow, it was worth a try.

Drat could not find that file at Tucows, and that is most unusual actually.

Ok final analysis is in.

It works.

It's easy to use.

It can read any text to you if the text is put into the window of the program. This likely means cutting and pasting. I did it with a large amount of text (one of my erotic fictions).

Sure was odd hearing a female voice read my story eh.

Was even able to hear a few spots I would have written differently.

The program is a free 30 day trial.

Which means either you buy it, or of course like some, you go to a site that allows cracks for damn near everything in existence.

Either way, my link above functions and provides a working setup exec file.
