Anyone who has read anything by Fannie Flagg knows that her books are just pure fun. Her latest Standing in the Rainbow is out and I'm almost 1/2 way through it now. As usual, it makes me laugh out loud. For those of you who haven't read any of her work, try:

Daisy Fay and the Miracle Man
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe (made into the movie Fried Green Tomatoes -- Flagg wrote the screenplay for which she earned the Scripters Award.

And, one of my very favorite books is Welcome to the World, Baby Girl!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip, Vixie.

I loved Fried Green Tomatoes and Welcome to the World.

I think I need to make a trip to the book store. That, or suggest my mom read it so she can pass it on to me. :)

That's exactly how I got her latest. All us girls in the family trade books and since I'm the only daughter in town I get all the ones my Mom buys first. hehe. I almost went crazy when she told me about the new Fannie Flagg. I swear, I can't remember turning more than 2 pages without laughing out loud. Enjoy sugarpie.
