According to the FAQ I was pointed towards earlier, it would look like it would delay it. But if the revisions make the story quite a bit better, I'd personally take the extra time.

Good luck! Now I'm just going to hope revisions don't take as long to post, as the last paragraph was cut out of my first story. :(

Revisions usually take as long as the original submisssion to post --How well you explain the need for posting the revision in the comments will make a difference as Laurel won't have to search the entire document to review and approve the changes.

If a story has not been approved, you can click on the word PENDING to review and/or edit the submission -- including replacing it completely with a revised version. Each time you click on the PENDING link and click on the submit story button to save the changes, the story moves to the bottom of the submissions queue and starts the approval process over.

My personal preference is to "let my children go" and leave all but the most egregious errors uncorrected once I hit the submit button -- I've found that no matter how well I edit and proofread or how many other people I have check for errors, there is always something that slips through the process or something that could be worded better or ....

If I were to go back and submit a revision everyt ime I spotted something I'd like to change, I'd still be working on my first submission (from three years ago :p)
