Just for a lark I decided I wanted to post some of my poetry.

If anybody else wishes to post theirs as well or comment on my own feel free-this is just a way to express myself where others can see it it is not a closed thread by any means.

Fool

A fools game
A fools bliss
A fool runs down the isle
While I silently wait for loves first kiss

A fools heart
I may have
Dreaming of a better place
As I wait for loves first embrace
A fool

Call me what you want
Call me what you will
But a fool I will always be
Just waiting for the thrill
Of true love
A fool

So let me be
In the fools game
And let me be a fool again
But bring me just one thing
A fool

Good Cry

I wake each morning
In a half drenched bed
From the tears falling
When I rest my head

I wake each morning
And look at the sky
I scream out your name
Alas no reply

I spend my day mourning
Moping around
My eyes never look up
But down at the ground

If I stop
I know I will cry
Because I love you and miss you
So I must keep on the fly

As I finally go to bed
There is no reason to ask why
I wake each and every morning
After a good cry

I like these! So perfectly clear and simple. Profound, yet unostentatious.

I really don't write poetry much anymore, I prefer to read poems and I like your style. Most of my favorite poets speak very plainly and the words make the music. Your poems here are like that.
