How comes that whenever something good seems to happen in your life and you think you - for once - might get lucky.....and then everything you thought went well ends, crashes, crumbles down, vanishes and leaves more complications than before???

I mean, there can't be a god, because if there was, he couldn't be such a fucking asshole all the time.

A close reading of the Bible reveals such behaviour patterns for God that if they were to be duplicated by any young child, it would unconditionally guarantee that the neighbours would not let it live past puberty.

Read Job, and you could replace the Supreme Deity described there with a psychopathic eight-year-old boy who likes torturing bugs.

Wow, you're going to hell!;)

Actually, I totally agree, but if you say that stuff outloud- everyone runs for cover, feeling certain that it's only seconds before you get hit by a bolt of lighting. And they don't seem to think that *proves* the point.

Just remember, God does not have anything to do with your troubles.

Because life's a bitch and then you die. Good times are the exception, not the rule; cherish them.

Wanna bet? Jesus loves; God kicks ass.

Well can't vouch for God's moral character, (He swore me to secrecy) but I can tell you the important thing to do is keep hope alive. The world is a very twisted place and there's a lot of forces and people that like to see you suffer or squirm, but the hidden truth behind all the evil truths and disheartening truths is that you should keep hope alive because its real and it does pay off at the rarest of times.

Buck up, it'll get worse. Life will suck and sometimes Mr. Bullet will look like a friend, but it's all bullshit. Enjoy what you can of life while you got it and keep hope alive for the rest of the stuff.

It'll come...sometime. Probably when you're least expecting it.

Like Rumpy says, I don't understand why people assume that life is pleasant by nature and that bad things are the anomalies.

The Babylonians believed that life was more or less an unedning string of miseries and misfortunes broken by a few unexpected pleasures which only served to set things up for the next big catastrophe.

As the poetess said, "Hope is the thing with feathers..."
