Random Real World Lit Encounters?

Have you ever been talking to someone in your daily life, maybe at work or school, maybe family or some casual gathering where the person just happened to mention Lit? Maybe they mentioned being an author, or just a reader.

I’ve only encountered one other person who knew about the site, and she just reads the stories, didn’t even know the forum existed. I don’t talk about Lit with more than a few friends and my bf, and even then it’s pretty rare.

I have been the one to casually mention and introduce people to Lit. I was open about my username here. My offerings in the forum are of my normal values so I have nothing to hide from those close friends I have told.

I have also extended and have accepted as well a number of Lit contacts to my outside world which have developed into close friendships that I cherish very much. These friendships initially developed over many years here on Lit first.

I have not yet randomly had someone in my daily life bring up Lit to me.

I have never had Lit come up in conversation. I wonder where it would lead if it did in some way come up.
