Would a steak lunch at a place like Applebees, Chili's, or even Perkin's cost ONE person $26? Or at a restaurant such as those, would $26 have to be a meal for TWO people?

Because sometimes it's easier to stay in a relationship that hurts the to take a chance on going out on our own.BlessedBe said:Yeah, I came to this conclusion before my man left tonight. (I even called his work yesterday to see if he would want me to bring him lunch (I did that often) and the asst. manager said he took off to bring lunch back to work.)
The restaurant is called Tumbleweeds if anyone has ever heard of that. It seems to be about the same price and style as a Applebees or Perkin's or whatever. Mid-grade diner kinda place. No fast food, but no fancy steak house.
I found a receipt on the bathroom countertop while he was showering that said he went in at 12:15 (and he HATES eating at a restaurant! He'd rather take food home, etc) yesterday and it cost $26 to eat.
I asked him about it, and my man said he stayed at the restaurant and ate stake. I flat out asked him if he went with someone, etc. Bastard lied to my face.
*sigh*
Why do I stay with him?

I know, and I'm sorry I made it all sound so glib, cos it ain't.BlessedBe said:If only it were that easy, though...
I agree...I think $12-15 would be average for most of those places for lunch.BlessedBe said:But, still, it's almost "impossible" for one person to have a $26 bill for lunch (often times lunches are a bit cheaper than dinners) at "average" restaurants.
Hell, even at Outback it would be a "fancy" dinner for one to reach $26.
