Glindiel smiled when Varthes breathed his suggestion in her ear. She obviously knew what he meant, and just as Varthes had no doubt guessed, the performance she had shown at the marketplace was by no means all she could do. And after watching the cat, gnome and lizard… play with each other, as well as having Tala speak to her so intently, Glindiel was certainly in the mood for a more enchanting performance.
“Well,” she spoke, “if the audience demands for an encore, how could the songstress refuse? Also, seeing that we have such a nice, more private atmosphere… I believe there are no objections if I show you how I can really perform.”
Glindiel stood up and made her way to the middle of the room. Still wearing her performer’s outfit, the beautiful elf knew she already had the attention of most people in the room (most men, anyway). Still, just like before, a few softly glowing Dancing Lights appeared, circled around all the tables and finally returned to give the songstress a beautiful, colored lighting.
”Ladies and gentlemen,” she spoke out, in a voice that sounded almost like a whisper, yet it could be heard by everyone just as clearly as if it was shout out loud. ”Thank you for coming to our lovely little tavern tonight. I hope you don’t mind this… distraction. I would like to sing you a song.”
As Glindiel had said these words, she began singing a beautiful, wordless tune. At that moment, her appearance seemed to change in the eyes of the spectators. Maybe it was the lighting, maybe it was her voice, but she seemed even more beautiful and sensual than before. Glindiel let one of the shoulder straps of her dress slide down her arm. It was no longer just a generous cleavage she was showing, rather she now had just a strap of cloth running from her right shoulder to under her left armpit. If she raised her left arm a bit – which she did quite often – people on her left side could see the whole side of her breast from underneath her dress. Glindiel’s skirt too seemed to have shortened even more. It only barely covered her panties, and whenever Glindiel bended slightly forward, the skirt raised dangerously close to revealing too much. The Dancing Lights circled around her, lighting up every inch of her silky elven skin and coloring it in beautiful shades of red and gold. [[Cast Eagle’s Splendor on self]]
The tune Glindiel was singing now changed, and she began singing an actual song with lyrics. It was a beautiful love song about a beautiful elven maiden and her affection to a rough human adventurer. While singing, Glindiel moved around the inn with sexy and sensual movements. She made sure she showed every side of her body to every corner of the inn, often running her hands on various parts of her body and giving seductive looks to the patrons. Often she moved close enough to a spectator that her body was just an inch away from them, but whenever anyone tried to reach out and touch her, she swiftly moved away and left them only hoping. Glindiel was teasing them. She was showing off her body, she was letting them close, so very close, but the elf never actually let anyone touch her, or see any of her most private parts. Glindiel had the whole audience in her grasp, and she loved it. [[Cast Enthrall on the whole audience]]
For the final verse, Glindiel moved to her own table. She took her time with everyone on the table, moving close, looking intently in their eyes, almost touching their ears with her lips. If it was someone in the red light district doing this act, it would be called a lap dance, but somehow the elf did it so sensually that it was both sexy and very tender and beautiful. Glindiel gave this show in turn to Tala, Varthes, Kitt and Kratash, and seemed to make every one of them feel like they were the one she gave the most attention to.
Last of all, after circling around Kratash, almost rubbing her body on her, she turned her attention to Mira. After singing the final lyrics directly to her, Glindiel actually took Mira’s hand, pulled her up from Kratash’s lap and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek. The song ended to a complete silence in the room.
“I hope my performance was appropriate enough to your tavern,” Glindiel whispered in Mira’s ear.
“I’m so sorry,” she said in a louder voice to the whole table. “I didn’t mean to bring the conversation to an abrupt end like this. Where were we? Oh yes – you were about to tell us your opinion on the underground groups, Mira, weren’t you?” Glindiel’s face was still beaming. The Dancing Lights still circled around her body, which now glistened in the lights, as her dancing had brought a few drops of sweat on her skin. Her outfit was still as it were, revealing, sexy and sensual, as the elf now bowed and curtsied to the cheer and applause in the room.
