Rain comes

Well yeah-- but he hissed such adorable little nothings in our ear that we let him go again...

He must be getting tired or maybe just losing his mojo. I can barely hear it coming down this time round.

We could use some weather warm enough for rain instead of snow or ice over here in the north east... Spring is almost here... It's almost here... Almost here...

Ooops. I take it back. Woke up last night heard it coming down. Woke up this morning, still coming down.

Green snake is running wild again, mojo strong as ever.

The rain at least cuts out the morning walk giving me an hour of unscheduled time to either write or build. I think I'll build.

Did the groundhog see his shadow? He did in SoCal, for what that's worth.

It's moist and partly cloudy up here in NorCal. Though they expect 2-6 feet of snow in the mountains in the next few days.

I'm glad I live in the flat lands.

Unfortunately the rain hasn't come to Virginia's Blue Ridge. The downside to escaping most of the snowstorms thus far this year is that we are way behind in the water we need.

Up here, the groundhog made it about half way up through the four feet of snow, said, "Fuck it!" and went back to bed. :(

Over here, the groundhog poked his head up through a sewage pipe, was speared with a rusty anal hook and roasted over a trash can fire on Figueroa Street.

... you keep telling yourself ... telling yourself.

Oh yeah, definitely did here. Phil said Spring and it sprung! High in the mid fifties today and tomorrow. Course, then it goes back to the normal inexplicable up and down dance. Thirty or so on the weekend.

Weather forecast for Friday and Saturday shows almost non-stop rain and thundershowers!

What the heck were you feeding that green snake before you lost him, VM?

He kept demanding multi-vitamins . . .

And ginseng extract.

More rain predicted for the end of this week! Are you sure you didn't give that snake some of those little blue pills you got for Christmas?

Give them to him? No . . . but a check of the medicine cabinet does reveal a slight shortage. Hmmmm . . .

The hills are sooo beautiful, though.

When I was in high school I had an art assignment, so I painted a landscape of rolling hills covered in yellow grasses, Because that's the way the hills behind town appeared.

My Father who had grown up in Colorado laughed and said, I was a true Californian.

Not for another two months here. *sigh*

Well, really, we call April 1 spring even if it snows.
