Some time ago I was approached by Fireblade Publishers, an indie set up who offered to float links to my fantasy erotica free on their webpage. After initial suspicion, I took them up on this offer and I've remained very friendly with them.
Vanessa, the main editor, has run into trouble with a publishing house called Raider, and I'm circulating the details here. Vanessa says:
"I've started a petition against Raider Publishing (to the FBI) they are cheating many authors out of money and selling their books illegally. My first book, too, is sold illegally by this publisher. If you know any unhappy authors who published with Raider Publishing International and are now being ignored by the company when they demand a refund or the services they paid for, would you please share this link with them: http://darlamittler.com/blog/2013/0...r-publishing-guest-post-by-vanessa-finaughty/ I'd appreciate all the exposure we can get for this. The more names we have on the petition, the faster the FBI will sit up and take note."
