Racism is alive and growing
In Mounds Oklahoma. A land owner hung a noose from a dead tree and nailed up a sign about keep driving. The tree was located next to the road. The intent of the sign and noose was to deter thieves who might be thinking of his place as a target. Two black drivers thought the sign was targeted at blacks although the sign did not specify any race. They just naturally assumed it was directed at blacks.
