Birdland is just an awesome track. He deserves sainthood for "Heavy Weather" alone, without all the other great stuff he created and produced.

Here's a snippet of one of my favorite of Zawinul's ballads, Familiar To Me.

He wrote it over 30 years ago, in his Weather Report days, but released it on album only recently, with the Zawinul Syndicate.
