Hiyah!
It's Liar, but in a brand new dress...suit...whatever. I only got me this designated competition alias so that I didn't have to flush out my almost full PM box.

So.. it's time to kick this thing into gear:

Welcome to
Quick and Dirty
Author's Hangout Flash Fiction competition #1 - Fast Food

Write a short, short story and compete for honor, glory and mug.

Wikipedia says: Flash fiction, also called sudden fiction, micro fiction, postcard fiction or short-short fiction, is a class of short story of limited word length. Definitions differ but is generally accepted that flash fiction stories are at most 200 to 1000 words in length. Ernest Hemingway (1899 - 1961) wrote a six-word flash: "For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn." Traditional short stories are 2,000 to 10,000 words in length.

In the honor of the Quick (and, I quess, also the Dirty), this competition has the theme Fast Food. Supersized meals (or males), drive-by-wok-n-fook, fries and a striptease... or just as a sloppy metaphor for greasy humping? Whatever you can think of. Just make sure it's in there, somehow.

Here are them rules:

* Write an erotic flash story. Maximum length: 500 words.

* Incorporate, in any way you see fit, the theme "fast food".

* Come up with a title

* PM your entries to Quick-n-Dirty before Wednesday, March 15, 10 PM CET

* One entry per person, please.

* Hang back for a day or two while I organize the voting.

* Vote.

* Win, or join the rest of us in praise of the winner.

Voting will start once the entries are properly tagged and formatted. In one poll if there are few entries, in semi final polls if there are many. If so, which entry that goes into which heat will be randomized. Voting will be open for exactly five days. Deadline depends on when I can get it started.

Oh yeah, one more thing: Entries will be kept anonymous until the winner is announced. So try to keep quiet about which one is yours. K?

"So, what do I win?" you ask.
Well, except the great honor, there is a small material award, the official Winner's Mug shipped to the address of your choice. (design pending...)

So get crackin, folks!

And try to bump this up once in a while. ;)

Bümping this once, before I'm off to bed.

Hah!!! A story that is short enough that even I can write...

Good to see the bumping going on. :)

I'll get the final desighn for the trophy tonight. Stay tuned...

I've about 300 words done...now I need to fit in the theme....

Yay!!! This is fun!

Sometimes the toughest is that 1 word.....501...and the 1 just pulsates....

Is there a minimum?
Haven't thought of it....

Since I didn't specify any, I guess I'll have to say no.

Although somewhere between 300 and 500 would be best, so that the entries are somewhat comparable.

I guess you could write "It was a dark and stormy night. And so they lived, happily ever after" if you absolutely have to.

But then it'd have to have the little extra I added to count for this contest. :p

One hour, story done and it's...goddamnit! 562 words! Now for my least favorite part. *grumbles*

NM, the impossible has been accomplished. :D

If you guys keep talking about how many words you've written and how many asterisks you added, it will become pretty easy to figure out who wrote which entry...

Still got a couple days, don't sweat it yet. 500 words only takes a few minutes.

But I don't even know where to start. I haven't written in a very very long time - Maybe I lost my mojo.
