Does anyone know, when (the year) they legalized gambling in the state of Wisc?

Thanks...but crap. Thinking there will not be a ton of money in the Indian Casino's .... have to move this story to Atlantic City, where men have more dollars then sense
Are you sure you want to do that? Have you been to Atlantic City in the last 15 years or so? The average age of the gamblers is in the mid-60s!!!!
Thank you for pointing that, that is nice. Well, that part of the story takes place 10 years prior and is only used as a flash back. back story if you will. So, if I tweak the time and say make it 2000-2003 A.C. might have been hoping like it was 1999 (bad price reference) ?
Back story would be good. I wasn't there in 1999, but I do remember the stories of NYC people spending the weekends in AC, and they were my age at the time - 35 and younger. There were no whining about the seniors taking up the poker table chairs or slot machine seats.
after doing some quick research about Wisc, or the Indian casino's well they are filled but not with money or anyone under 90.
from NYC to AC guessing its a 1-3 hr car ride with 100 toll stops, pretty drive just $$ lol
NONE of the Indian casinos are filled with money, they're not promoted for the "High Rollers."
In the back of a limo, the ride from NYC to AC isn't that bad
oh sure, Mr. Big $$$$ why don't you arrange to take us all?
From the other end, the Indian casinos are filled with plenty of money. A whole lot a small money still adds up, and in the last 20 years my tribe has gone from third-world to solidly upper-middle class. It might not seem like much to you, but it has made a world of difference to us.
Also, the payouts in WI Indian casinos are much, much higher than in Vegas or Atlantic City - you might actually go home with more than you started with!
(And I'm not just saying that - as a non-enrolled tribal member, I don't receive any cash from casino profits.)
Gotcha. Didn't know the context. Yeah, I would think that wouldn't be the best setting for that kind of story.
On the other hand, if you wanted to write horror, the WI north woods could be perfect
