Question regarding the threads the mod moved the other night

Oh there's more than one.

Morning Storm, morning Someplace.

I'll be your friend, I'll show you around and stuff. You'll like it here, it's nice.

Storm and Someplace are way awesome people. Welcome to the playground you two. :)

To the Thread: At this point wouldn't it be better to move on? What happened is over. It was a mess. We will all write it down in the "Great Historical Record Of Literotica". Personally my entry will be a one-liner. I can't see wasting more disk space than that.

Here, Storm. You can sit next to me a while. I'll even make you some coffee. :D
If what I said offends anyone I am sorry. But reacting defensively never helps and it seems that everyone was doing it, and I'd like Lit to regain it's good humor, my friends to return, and everyone be on good terms again.

Thank you for listening.
There are many good people on both boards and lots of room in the middle. To clarify any small amount of participation on my part, I extended my support to help defuse the tension with humor and wit. My humor is never meanspirited or hurtfull, although it can be too subtle for some.
I find myself guilty of being a droll troll, with all good intentions. I found this as an opportunity to thank the folks who have made me feel welcome, extend my greeting to those I've not met and reaffirm the new friendships I've found. Hope there's room for me in here somewhere.

Did someone mention coffee?

I personally just wish these threads would die a quick death...I'm about sick of hearing about it all...
Get on with the fun!:)

Question

How do you become a moderator?

I thought, reading the FAQ’s and Help etc that you needed 10,000 posts or a huge daily average, but there isn’t much information in there.

Native Alien, who did that last stir up, only has 4648, and she mentioned a rule I have never heard of:
The playground is for talking about personal ads and seeing as they were not doing so in 7 or more posts, the threads were moved to the general board where they belonged.
I thought the Personals were for that, not the Playground!

Are there any criteria to becoming a moderator? (Not that I want to be one, I am just curious).

My thoughts on the whole thing of Lit are that the GB could be split up, for example: Games: Your PM is full: Love or Hate Lit people etc.
Sub categories.

My thread was moved ages ago, from Personals to the Playground. That is good, seems a more logical place for it, but glancing through the playground, there is games and many strange things in there also!

Just curious!

Not stirring it up again, just very curious!
