How Many Sexual Partners Have You Had
Traditional legend has it that a peasant man in Christendom married his one life partner in the Church and they remained together till death did part them. That ideal from simpler times has persisted into the middle of the Twentieth Century as noted by the war time romances that have lasted for the past half century.
However, my generation threw that idea out in the late '60s with our Sexual Revolution that made sexual encounters as casual as a handshake. As a veteran of that revolution, I've already written my memoirs, but when I sat down and tallied up all the different people I've had sexual intimacy with it came to just 54.
Somehow, considering the "Free Luv" era that I lived thru, that seems a small number. On the other hand, to someone still subscribing to the theory of one mate from virginity to death, it was a life of debauchery. Is there a mean number among us Free Luv veterans? How about some input from those who came of age in the late '60s? Please be honest. No Wilt Chamberlains with your numbers in the thousands that proved to be mathematically impossible with 24-hour days.
