Does it help if a guy can cook, or is it no big deal if be can or can't? I'm really curious about this considering how some women hate cooking.

Nah because ALOT of men that can cook still can't take care of themselves, it took me until I got in my 30s before I started relying on myself because I realized that is the only way not to feel useless

I think it's a very attractive quality of a man, cooking a meal for their partner shows they've spent time and effort which I personally think is a great thing. It's all down to personal opinion/preference though and may not be as high up on someone else's make or break list
