Question for Plot Development

I have an excellent story idea but I am having problems developing it the way I want to, here is the deal: A mother is about to confront her son, trying to convince him to teach his sister about sex. I want some actual convincing to occur, and I don't think it would be constructive to the plot if the mother used sex as a method to convince her son. I figured she could do something to make him horny, then employ some reasoning, but I just don't know how this should be done? Any suggestions are appreciated!!!

Mmm... maybe an argue for safe sex? Meaning, she wants him to teach her how to have safe sex so the daughter will not get a disease or preggers... mmm and maybe before the son does it, he has questions to ask his mom...

I think you need to apply a little convincing to the readers first. Why would a mothercome up with this sort of idea in the first place -- feedback from friends of hers about her son's prowess, Eavesdropping on son and girlfirend, A desire to watch her daughter's defloration, or something else?

Without that, I think your plot will have a big hole in it.

Convincing the son: Blackmail? An appeal to his pride? An appeal to familial duty? Revalation of a family tradition? Has to take the place of deceased father?

Just so you know, that little snippet of information I provided about my story in no way represents the whole plot of the story, it is a lot more complex then that. I really liked the safer sex argument, but I am still looking for some more options.
