I would've answered, I just didn't catch the post in time. I've posted in the am pics board for a long time and I have my own complaints about it. Wouldn't be surprised if they were the same.

well....i was asking how people who post in the am pic threads deal with all the horn-dogs IMing them or Pming them....or some go so far as to e-mail directly.....just wanted to know how others deal with them.

I delete emails I don't recognize and I don't post my yahoo on Lit (anymore) due to the same issues.

ah, well that sucks. I've found most go away if you ignore them. Weird about the Yahoo following. Is your ID here the same as other places? Uh, don't answer that, just something to think about.

Ahhh...hence one of the reasons why I don't post my msn messenger and deleted my yahoo. I can understand your frustrations.

I try to be nice to most of them, but there have been people I just ignore. If they IM or PM me, they have to start out with an actual greeting at least. Saying "you're hot, wanna cyber?" gets a delete. Some people over the years have talked to me once and then I never heard from the again. With others, back when I would cyber on occasion, I would cyber with them once for fun and then they would IM me every day looking to cyber. I'm not a machine and I do live with another person in my dorm so even if I did want to, I wouldn't be able to cyber every day. A few rare gems have started out like horn dogs but have ended up being good conversationists and having a good amount in common with me, so I have met some good people that way.

In your case, I would just delete them or, because I like to be sarcastic sometimes, I would try to make an autoresponse that says something like "thank you for not reading my signature and thank you for ignoring my request...you are being ignored". =/

i know but like i said....i haven't any patience.

thank you.....i've tried that and it has worked but....it's the ones who try to add me to their messenger that really get to me. i try to tell my brain that it's no big deal...just ignore them and move on.....but my brain refuses to listen...so, here i am...posting my complaint on here......i really hate the human brain at times

Well, you shouldn;t really hate your brain because when it all comes down, these people are basically stalkers if they don't get the hint. It reminds me of a scene from the movie Hitch, when a guy is hitting on Eva Mendez in a bar and she keeps telling him she's not interested...but he keeps ignoring that little fact.

well, they don't get my e-mail addy.....i was on Call Kelly ( or whatever the name is ) and i was so hit by soooo many guys (alot of which were extremely rude) that i closed my threads and account.

i tried leaving here so many times but....i've made great friends here so as always i end up creating a new screen name and come back. what a sucker i am

I find that it's usually the lurkers who will message me with that stuff, so I think they can't read...or write well...or then why would they be lurking?

may fav is like the one i read tonight when i created this thread.....

this guy out of no where tries to add me to there Yahoo list.....we chatted in IM and then when i saw that the conversation towards sex....i just stopped talking.....(now keep in mind there's another person hounding me in another IM)

later, i made this thread and that same guy IMed me asking if he was the reason i made the thread.....BOY! what an ego!!!

I have since quit posting my fotos at am pics, I don't do nudes and it gets very annoying when I kept getting pm asking me for nudes. Besides I'm horrible at maintaining that pic thread.

Wow! Just wanted to let you know that not all the guys that look at ampic threads do stuff like that and I feel bad you went thru that stuff. I wish you the best when you feel like expressing yourself and hope the bad apples haven't screwed everything up too badly.
