But isn't it a case of chatting here to anyone you enjoy PMing with and ignoring those you don't. Then perhaps, in some cases sharing instant messenger information.

In some cases people have the instant messenger information on here and I guess are open to people adding them, presumably with a view to ignoring them there also if they are a pain or you don't get along?

It's like a pub or bar in a way, some conversations never get past Hi! while others flourish.

Or is this easy for a guy to say?
