Question About Weed

I accidently washed a bag of weed. Not mine but that is besides the point. Anyone know how I can dry it out fast? And will this cause it to lose it's potency?

I don't know about if it would still have it's potency or not, I'm assuming it would. I would put a metal screen over a deep pan and put it in the oven on a low setting and keep checking on it. That's how some people dry herbs and weed is an herb. Hope this helps.

I've dried other herbs by sandwiching them between two furnace air filters and then using bungee cord to fasten the filter sandwich to the front of a square window fan.

This made me LOL. I was hoping to have this shit dried out before they found out what I did. But no dice. And if I hadn't have decided to be nice and wash his clothes, this wouldn't have happened. But he left them on the floor and there was a quarter in the pocket. Boy is he irate. I figured though that someone would have some clever ideas. FUCK

I thought of that. I decided to call someone I know who sells it. He said he'd never done anything that careless. But to just let it airdry. It still smells the same. He isn't sure if the THC was weakened. Oh hell, a lesson learned. Don't try to do anyone a favor and wash their clothes and, be more careful with your weed. LOL

I would honestly say don't smoke weed that has been exposed to other chemicals. There will always be some detergent left in the weed, and you don't know what the detergent will release when it is burned.

Well, this thread is probably good news = proof we are winning the war on drugs. I'm still a little shocked that as easy as it is to replace a bag of weed, that someone would spend the time and trouble to try drying out a wet bag.

Seeing as how you posted 2 days ago now...

my answer probably comes a bit late however .... take said bag of mysterious herb like material - punch a few small holes in the base - stick hair dryer (NOT on HOT) in top of bag - BLOW. Drying it all off will take only a few minutes and you won't lose any of this thc stuff either as long as you're not cooking the stuff.

I don't know much about it 'cept when my ex smoked it he was like wow in bed. But I think the best way to dry it is the way they I read they originally dried tobacco. Sit it in the sun, maybe on window or somewhere the sun would be or quick blowdry?

LOL I would be severly pissed to!! can't say I've never did it. Here's the solution, if its "shake" your in good shape, bud a little harder. First, lay it all out flat on a piece of alumunum foil and place another piece on top, place on a cookie sheet and place in the oven on 250 degrees and keep checking until dry(sometimes an hour). when finished put in in a "clean, not washed baggie cut a piece of orange peel off an orange, put in bag and in an hour or two your have fruity smelling ready to go treat. By the way the aluminum foil protects it from browning!

Considering the price for an ounce here is around $350AU, I'd be drying it out

Sir suggests putting it in a dark paper bag on the dashboard of your car, in the sun. Check it after 15 mins, then every 10 mins after that until dry. Oh beware your car will smell like pot for months......
Alternatively do the same thing, but near a sunny window in the house

I was going to let this thread die but I had to comment. Said owner of weed is almost 25 yrs old and if he'd fucking grow up and wash his own laundry this would never have happened. I used to check pockets and any money I found was my TIP. He should a) wash his own clothes B) take better care of his weed.
