Question about Rings

I have a ring that turns my finger green and I was wondering if anybody knew if there was something out there that I could coat it with to make it stop doing that.

I love this ring...even though it's not the most expensive it holds very sentimental(sp?) value for me.

Any help would be great!!!

Try clear nail polish. I don't have any rings and I hven't worn any in quite some time, but I think my mother did that when I was a kid with hers. good coat of it on the inside and around the outer edge and that should tke care of it.

Clear nail polish will work, but you'll need to reapply it periodically.

A permanent solution might be having the ring plated (or replated) by a jeweler. That might not be possible, depending on the ring and any settings it might have -- a jeweler could tell you what's possible.
