I don't think it's a very good idea. Hiring a prostitute, whether called an escort, whore prostitute whatever is illegal and I am pretty darn sure the cops do put ringers on those sites.

It's illegal to hire or be hired but posting on one of those sites is not.

Now if you go so what, well have condoms, don't be one of those guys. Go out and buy a box or two of condoms the day of or day before follow the instructions on the box on storage practices, I beleive it is cool dry place but read the box to be sure.

After that, assuming you don't care about maybe being arrested and have condoms, have fun. ;)

If I were a guy, I wouldn't do it just because I have no desire to risk getting arrested or a disease/infection. The cops have even been cracking down on Craigslisters lately; I bet a site that's just about exclusively for sex workers is even more risky.

At the end of the day, a lot of people end up with HPV and HSV from skin-to-skin contact in spite of using condoms for penetration. Someone who has had a ton of partners is very likely to have an STD/STI of some type, whether it's from skin-to-skin contact, unprotected oral (giving or receiving), or condom malfunction. There isn't good data on STD rates for illegal prostitutes in the US, but one has to factor in the number of partners, possibility of rape, IV drug use and other associated risk factors for disease/infection.

I simply wouldn't care to expose myself to that kind of risk. Even if I were a single guy, I'd think about the fact that a lot of people want their partner to have a clean bill of health before getting intimate. And if I were partnered and cheating with the hooker, the thought of having to tell my significant other that I'd both cheated and gotten an STD (or worse, passed one on to them unknowingly) is enough of a deterrent to keep me from screwing around in the first place, much less with a prostitute.

Now in a place where it was legal and there was a lower incidence of STD's than the general population due to education and/or regulation, I might just go for it (with safer sex practices, of course).

My wife's former friend got into the escort business. Its the main reason they aren't on speaking terms anymore.
The escort thought she was high and mighty...sleeping with married men for cash, not paying taxes, blowing all her cash on clothes and cocaine instead of paying off her debt...yet also talking about 'this one guy that wouldn't wear a condom, and fucked her anyways'...which I'd call rape, but what do I know.

Escort = prostitute that's slightly more picky about clientel.
