Hi, am a new author and have a story that starts of non consensual (bbc gangbang) but then turns the girl into a sex slave who loves it. Is this under disallowed content or "rape"?

I suggest reading and searching the forum as this question gets asked a lot.

Basically, yes, as long as she 'loves it' by the end you'll be fine. 'By the end' probably means the end of the gangbang rather than chapter 50 of the story.

[No personal attacks or trolling - including creating accounts for this specific purpose. Heated discussions are fine, even welcome. However, personally attacking / kink-shaming a fellow author or reader is not allowed within the Author's Hangout. Threads which devolve into the exchanging of insults will be closed and repeat offenders will be given a timeout, per the AH rules.]

Ever thought of writing something, I don’t know, maybe a little less misogynistic?

Just sayin’

Women don’t enjoy rape. Ever.

Emily
I could think of a non misogynistic take that explores trauma bonding and operant conditioning and rationalization. Not gonna take bets on whether that's what's going on.

Can't really think of a way to make it not racist but hey, OP doesn't have to make me happy.

That sort of story would have to live firmly outside of NC/R, though. Because on Lit the abuse can't be depicted sexually, if it's handled in that realistic fashion.

Anyway, I try not to judge people for their kinks. Hopefully the OP is one of those cases where the kink doesn't reflect their character at all, and is purely a fantasy thing. Hopefully!

The 'rape rule' is so vague, inconsistently enforced, and the biggest running joke on the site. Submit your story as is and see if it goes through.

I have 70/30 it does.

The answer is that the content probably will be OK if the woman's attitude evolves to enjoy the conduct during the story.

Morality and verisimillitude aside, this is probably the right answer.

It won't be a realistic story, but at Lit, that's no crime. I won't read it, but I'm sure plenty will.

I think one of the worst things about Lit’s stance on allowing rape porn is the “so long as she enjoys it in the end.” Like rape is awful, but if you rape a woman enough, she’ll eventually enjoy it. That is so fucked up.

Emily

I don't disagree at all, on a personal level, but the OP is asking about a site policy. Like it or not, that's Lit's stance.

OK, but why do you have to keep bringing it up? You don't like it. Some DO like it. I don't read those kinds of stories much, but I've read some nonconsent stories. Conceptually, I understand the appeal from both the male and female point of view. Many, many people here want to read them, and the site allows them, so what's the point of continuing to harp on it and kink-shame others?

You, more than anyone else here, continue to raise the concern about being nice in this forum--a concern I share, and I support you in trying to keep things relatively nice. But when you keep kink-shaming your fellow authors, which IS what you are doing in this thread, you are not being nice. You are entitled to your opinion, and to your kink tastes. So is everyone else. There's no point served in continuing to lambaste the site for allowing this content, other than virtue signaling. It WILL continue to allow this content whether you like it or not. I support it in doing so.

If you want to start your own thread, or join in previous threads, where authors raise moral concerns about certain kinds of allowed content, that seems to me a completely legitimate thing for authors to discuss in this forum. There have been many such threads to post to. But why rain on the OP's parade in THIS thread? The OP is not interested in your moral disapproval. The OP just wants a practical answer to whether a story will pass muster under the site's rules.
