So I'm writing a sword and sorcery story and there's a part where the MC is forcefully *touched* by an enemy and she reaches O from it. It is very much not wanted on her part and is a form of punishment from him. Would this be allowed, or is there a way to change it to where it would be allowed? I don't want to upset readers or mods, but the point of the event is to show the enemy's depravity and encourage the MC to take a needed step in the future. I can remove it and allude to it if needed, but I don't want to unless I have to in order to not get in trouble.

Laurel's position is both clear and unclear. The 'recipient' must at some point enjoy what has happened to them. Hard limit and one might think it easy to understand, but there's endless debate about it. In your case, you're describing what might be an orgasm which isn't pleasurable and that throws all kinds of complexity into the mix. I would suggest that you PM Laurel and ask for her opinion (which is of course the only one which matters). Good luck.

Make sure the orgasm is stupendously great for her. Then add a sentence where she ruefully wonders why something so degrading made her feel so good, and speculating about what she'd feel if it happened again.

Then on with the story.

That should fly. Better, it adds tension later, when she confronts the villain and has a more complicated mindset about his conduct.

Having read a few stories in the SF/F category, I would definitely not worry about it.

Characters forced to orgasm against their will is fairly normal round here. Helpless pleasure in the moment.

I'd either follow @TarnishedPenny's advice and contact Laurel, or when you submit, drop in a Note to the Editor and point out the scene. You don't want it put into NonCon, because I think that's quite a different audience.

The readers in SciFi&F take a wide range of acts in stride, and Laurel allows a wide range of stories there. I don't think the event you described is even close to a problem. If it were, then there are any number of stories in SciFi&F that should be moved or removed, including one of my own, and I never thought twice about it.

As TP said, Laurel is the only one who can give you a definitive answer. Sometimes Laurel responds to direct questions, and sometimes she does not.

I'm less sold than some on the idea of contacting Laurel. That might just put a red flag on it, or possibly hold it up. The better path, I think, is to look over the guidelines on this issue carefully (they're posted) and write the story with a good-faith effort to comply with them. Then submit the story.

The way the OP described the situation, it shouldn't pose a problem at all as long as the MC receives some pleasure from it. I wrote a tentacle monster story in which the tentacle monster forced himself on a woman. While it had elements of erotic horror, I was very clear about describing the fact that the woman was aroused and orgasmed during the experience. I put it in the Sci Fi category. There were no problems.

This. There's a wider range of latitude in the category ( and Non Human/Mind Control ) because the readers don't complain about it when it serves the larger story. An even wider range in horror, although there are still hard limits on physical and emotional torture regardless of category.
