Fine day here at the ole BB Nitelight..........fine day. Some more serious threads, albeit still silly answers~but isn't that what this board is all about?

I thought it was lovely, thank you. A nice relaxing non-kindergarten air, rather refreshing all in all. I never read most of those stupid inane thoughtless threads anyway so I really didn't find the board either boring or insipid today. I thought Juliangel came up with some really intelligent threads today that would have been washed away in the morass of unintelligent brainfarts otherwise, just to name one.

Thank you for the restraint, I needed the adult today, I've had all of the five year old conversation I can handle today.

No, the board was not better today! I personally enjoy the silly threads as much as I do the serious ones. It really pisses me off to think that because some people don't care for the silly threads they feel a need to eliminate them from the board. Hitler didn't care for Jews, and I see people here taking the same approach he did to rid himself of their presence.

I think starting a thread about how much you don't like silly threads is completely asinine! If some people don't like silly threads, don't read them! And the argument that silly threads are taking up too much space and pushing the "worthwhile" threads to the back is ridiculous. Is it so important for you not to be inconvenienced that I should be denied something I enjoy?

The argument that silly threads should be labeled clearly is a very valid one. I agree, it makes it easier when I go to find them! And if you happen to stumble across a silly thread by accident, I'm very sorry for the 30 seconds you lost before you realized your mistake.

The fact that some people's bitching and whining about silly threads has driven others from the board really burns my ass! What gives you the right to decide what gets posted here?

In short, quit bitching, grow up, and I think some of you owe Nitelight an apology!

And when exactly did I thank Nitelight for NOT coming to the board?? That I would very much like to know. Because I sure as hell didn't have any intention of ever doing that. If I have, or in any way insinuated that I did that. I do apologise Nitelight. Profoundly. That was never an intention of mine.

And you know what JadedHeart, you can think and voice exactly whatever you want about me, or anybody else you happend to think have the trades of a nazi. Just dont expect your comments to go without a retaliation.

Actually, I was referring to another member of the board, not Nightlight. He is probably off with real life and could care less about my opinion of his inanity. We've already been through it and we still have a good relationship. Well, so much for intuitiveness.

I work during the day, but it was a nice switch to NOT have to go through mountains of junk posts to find decent threads to post on. I don't think anyone wants Nitelight, Ambrosious, April, etc. to leave the board. Haven't heard anyone SAY that. The request is moderation, that's all. Seems reasonable to me.

Those members of the BB who would like either a silly thread board or a silly / sensible thread board, or a sensible thread board.

All vote on the issue.

Infact I will even start a thread I think, then I can watch it burried after a day somewhere past page 4.

After a month for members to vote we could send the results to Laurel and Manu and they could put another board on the site.

Then if it is a General board for the serious, only serious threads can stay on it, silly threads would be moved to the General silly threads board.

If a serious thread ended on the silly board it could be moved the other way as simply.

I vote for the silly / serious board myself.

In moderation as others have asked.

Since I've been rather vocal lately about this topic, I'll assume I'm one of the ones you're talking about.

Forgive me if I didn't spend all day on the internet.

And please. Look at the sheer volume of junk (not silly, which is different). Then look at the two or three bitching threads. When the bitching even begins to appproach one tenth of a percent of the nothingness threads, then you can talk to me.

And it was clear to me that Xander was saying he had a great day. He wasn't thanking Nitelight for leaving. It only seems like that if you're feeling defensive.
