More image threads to their own board?

Maybe I’m in the minority, but when I come to the “General Board” I expect it to be general discussions, not 90% threads of reposted images.

Couldn’t the image reposting threads have their own board “hot pics” or something similar?

Also maybe it’s me, or my browser, but many image links are dead, broken, or when images do appear, repetitive.
