Qeustion concerning getting in contact with story moderators.

I have a question concerning something that I am unsure if it is allowed to be included in stories. There isn't a rule stating it can't, but there isn't one saying its okay either.

Is there a way to get in contract with the people who approve stories? Just to go hey, I got this idea....can I do that? Is that okay?

Check out the Author's Hangout. They are great at helping others, and the moderator of each forum is listed at the top of each forum (none in the General Forum or Politics Board).

Those of us who have been writing for a while have probably had your question answered in their own works. Pick one of us and PM your question.

As far as contacting a moderator and asking your question, you should know that the forum monitors do not approve or reject stories. As far as I know, the only person approving stories is Laurel. You can try PMing her, but since she's publishing between 100 and 200 stories a day, she probably won't have time to answer.

I looked over the rules and it's an outlier. I sent a message to someone and if I don't get a reply I just won't use the idea which is okay with me. It was just something that came to me when working on a new piece HAHA

Thank you! I didn't even know about Laurel. I sent a message, even if I don't get an answer (As she's super busy!) I figured it was worth a shot.

You can always just write it and submit it and see.

Or you could go over to the Authors' Hangout forum and say out loud to the forum what your idea is. People over there probably have experience with whether it would be permitted or not.
