No, it's more than that -- they're supposed to be an organization with hidden assets, in a position to arrest high-ranking officials.

He certainly deserves his sentence, but he's also a convenient distraction that takes attention away from the leaders of the insurrection. Some of the people in suits, including members of Congress, need locking up along with this lunatic.
 
Agree with the above, but I still would have hoped for a longer sentence for this guy. Some of these people deserve to be locked up in Guantanamo Bay and entombed for the rest of eternity. ESPECIALLY the leaders and those who were behind it- be they elected officials or self-declared "Patsies" like this guy.

He pled guilty to "Violent and Disorderly conduct" ( not the trespass lie)
He said sorry, admitted he was wrong, and promised to behave in future.
The judge reduced his sentence because of his admissions.

That looks like the law working as it should. Nothing to bitch about.
