States...mmmm 6 total...8 if I can count them twice as I've lived in PA & TX at different times. Oh wait - thats wrong - it is 7, as we moved from Montana to Yellowstone part right after I was born as my dad was the Cliff House GM.

I have not traveled overseas, but does the Carribbean and Mexico count? I love Mexico and one day hope to go back to Nuevo Vallarta or Puerto Vallarta. And no - never married -

Seriously--I haven't gotten any really disgusting ones; in fact, most of them are quite friendly. But I did get one from a guy who said that my profile gave him blue balls and he wanted to know what I was gonna do about it.

Hey I think I got one from the same guy! LOL I am lucky in that I don't get many, but what is weird is the ones I do get are all UK guys....have no idea why. The last one this guy wrote out this whole story about coming up behind me - but instead of typing "you", had a bunch of "u's".

Have also gotten a couple where they want to know if I have more pictures - like I would just pm them to them....geez!

Have you ever been to The Razor? If yes, have you ever been inside one of the clubhouses? Have they finished the Yawkey center building at MGH yet?

Well, about the Razor, it's sort of a yes and no kind of thing. I have been there but it was during contruction. I was with a brother delivering some things and we sort of 'got lost' while heading for an office. I've not been there since.

The Yawkey Center has been open since October, 2004. It's a good spot, it sure gives some breathing room in the Wang Building, which needed it badly. I wonder how far MGH can sprawl. I'm not sure but it looks as tho the Charles Street apartments have been razed, not sure what's going there but it won't surprise me if it's more MGH.

Hmmm, if you have lived in 7 different states and are glad the question wasn't the number of towns, I can only imagine how many there might have been. Do you own your own moving van?

LOL - no and I wish I did! All of what I own is still in a storage shed in PA where I have not seen it for over 3 years! When I moved up there 3 years ago, it was with the intention of staying there, but lo and behold that was not the case. Plan now is once I get a full time job (I'm working through a temp agency right now), I hope to save up enough to ship my stuff back to me - and my dog too!

I'm just glad I was not my sisters - now they both have done more moves then I did, as I lucked out with being the baby of the family. Get this - my oldest sister, the year I was born, went to 4 different high schools her senior year. And one of those was just for 1 day.

So Eilan, has it been incredibly warm at your locale? It was almost 60F here today, with rain or light drizzle all day. The warm rain falling on the snow created a lot of fog....and now most of the snow is gone. My lawn looks pretty green still, which is kind of surprising.

Actually, I was gonna post about this in your snow "size" thread.

Yesterday, we had temps in the 60's. This morning, there was a dusting of snow and it was in the 30's and windy all day. Tomorrow, it looks like it'll be in the 40's with rain/snow showers eventually changing to all rain.

erika: what's the best advice you've ever given?

I honestly don't know in regard to others because I don't see the significance it has to them. I did get an email from a young woman I'd advised to be very careful at college, parties, around male friends and boyfriends and shared a personal story with last year though. She said she was positive it prevented her from being raped. Unfortunately, her friend was not so cautious or lucky that night, and part of the reason this girl was writing me back was to ask for advice on how to help her through the aftermath of the gang rape. It feels like some of the better advice because I had to summon a lot of strength to give it, nearly didn't, and it seems like it had an impact. It was also advice I wish I would have been given.

For the married/attached among you - what do your SO's think of Lit?

He's a member with fewer than 10 posts and looks at pics and threads I send him once in awhile. He thinks it's a good community for a variety of reasons, but feels uncomfortable posting for the most part (his words: I'm still a little shy and sexually repressed).
