Islandman, please get your facts straight before posting something like that. They have come up with a replacement for the shuttle. SpaceX developed the Dragon capsule, which is launched on its Falcon 9 rocket system. And there is actually a very bright future in the private aerospace industry. No offense, but I think I would know that a bit better than you.

Islandman and SaintPeter, please don't cause a fuss. This thread has already degenerated further than it should have because of your posts.
