Punch Drunk Love

I've always loved Adam Sandler.

This isn't an Adam Sandler film, but from what I've seen it looks amazing.

I think he's branched out, and I'm looking forward to seeing him act.

From what I have read...it IS an Adam Sandler film...but a deeper more real one.
He didn't write it or direct it? That's what I'm refering to.

I have high hopes. I think it's going to be a very real love story. You know, where the leads aren't drop dead gorgeous, and the lines aren't perfect. I'm expecting charm and fumbling and things that tug at my heart strings.

I'm also expecting to see it alone. It's the first Adam Sandler movie my husband is flat out refusing. lol

Perky, it's a Paul T. Anderson film (guy who did Boogie Nights and Magnolia)
right, that's my point.

It's not Billy Madison<which is known as an Adam Sandler film>

Just cause he stars in the film, doesn't make it his, right?

Semantics are killing the point of this thread. Sorry.

I'm going to see it. I'm looking forward to it.
I love adam sandler. blah blah blah.

True...but Paul Anderson wrote it with Sandler in mind as the star...so in a way, I guess...it is sort of part his?
intereeeeerrrrresting.

that's a great spin.

I saw Adam Sandler and Paul T. Anderson on the Charlie Rose Show. After that, i couldn't wait to see it. It looked touching and funny.

I want to see it too.... and I HATE Adam Sandler movies, am suspect of anything Roger Ebert likes anymore... and but this just looks good...

I can't say the previews are doing much for me. I'll most likely wait and rent it on DVD. <shrug>

Bump, btw.

I can not comment due to a conflict of interest.
P.T.Anderson still hasn't paid me for being Wahlberg's cock double in Boogie Nights.
