Define not "spending lots" and could you also let us know how many copies, volumes or issues you plan on doing? Were you thinking softbound, hardcover, magazine, newspaper, etc.?? There are all kinds of other considerations to think about LONG before you start mulling over adding photos.

well, under $1500 would be great. I want to sell at least 1000 copies and my first compilation would be of my poetry. Second will be my collection of erotica. I was thinking soft cover.
I have looked at many sites:
www.vpg.net is just one example.
and combed through many books on small presses and utilized the net. It seems its more trouble than its worth.
