PSA: Set your clocks back tonight.

Sinners and Harlots...looks like I am in the right place.

I already set my clocks back about an hour ago.
I wanted my extra hour while I was awake this year.

:D

Pie can be eaten at any time, my pie-loving brother.

I myself am eating a large slab of the pumpkin variety right now.

I really like the short days of winter before daylight savings time.

I wish the powers that be would stop fucking with time.

I've been argueing about the reasoning behind DST. Rasta, since you are the all knowing, please give me the reason.

Well, as far as I know it was suggested by Ben Franklin in an effort to reduce the number of candles used each winter. By pushing the day back an hour, they gained an hour to work by the light of the sun, thereby conserving valuable candles.

Isn't it about farming?

Fuck that. I don't want to get up with the chickens.

I thought it had something to do with the fact that the earth doesn't travel around the sun in exactly 24 hours. Kind of like how I assumed that we have leap year to make up for the fact that 365 days isn't exact either.

But now that I think about it, it doesn't really make sense. Oh well.
