PSA: I am switch!

No it's like becoming a manager...there's a process, and classes, and certification. Didn't you get the hand book? It was right between the "so you are sub" and "What you think you're gay?" books. :p

Nope, I must have just slipped in when no one was looking.

God dammit..why didn't anyone tell me I was supposed to get the "What to expect when you're Bi" book?

Totally random thought: Somebody explain to me how you "become" bi or a switch? Is that like "becoming" het or dominant? Or is it a totally different process? Maybe I should've joined the Bi-Switch Union or something.
Well, i know that you 'become' dyke by cutting your hair shorts and stoping shaving your legs and starting wearing flanel shirts and hating men. But bi? I don't know. Maybe you cut your hair but keep shaving your legs, or something like that?
As for 'becoming' a switch, your guess is as good as mine.

Not at all. I just didn't think it would be this big a deal, but thank you for the support. It's taken me a long time to think this as something I wanted to do.
I got that from your previous comment in the thread. Which is one of the reason why the 'fashionable' statement was particularly offensive in this context.

Well I think it's great. . . More people with my phone number to spank me is always a good thing. :cathappy:

Hehe, I may have to come back to Cincinnati in January. ;)

You sure you don't want to take a walk on the other side Hommy dear? *licks your back* ;)

(wow that was too much even for me) lol

Considering you would've gotten a mouthful of backfur, it would be too much for me too :D

I have this song in my head for some reason:

I know all there is to know - about the crying game...

Ayeyey ...It wasn't meant to be any of the above.

However.....

I personally could care less about a person's sexual orientation as long as they don't make me feel uncomfortable in their presence.
Maybe its just me.. but I think sometimes that bisexuality especially is often claimed when it isn't really the case. I think the word used to be "experimentation"

As far as hb or anyone being bi - I have no issue with it. You have to remember that I am the odd one here.. conservative and kinky - now THAT is an odd mix; whereas being a sub and being bi is not so odd - or poly for that matter.

I call heaping piles of dog doo.

Just step outside with me for a moment and let's go for a walk through downtown DC, you and I, mentally. Who's the freak again? Capital districts. Suits. Maybe some of them are ex clients of mine, but I doubt it. If they're looking happy they're probably pretty conservative.

Where does it matter more, Lit, or downtown DC?

Lit, of course.

At least when the extent of your play is online. :p

Now theres a handbook?!?!?

How did I miss that at my coming out party.

"How to be bi in 10 easy steps"

oh, there it is.

What's so funny to me about the previous debate is: I have been actively out and lived through 2 long term girl/girl relationships (monagomous ones at that). I have had 3 or more long term relationships with men. Yet, I still get to hear about how bisexual is the *it* thing to be...around where I live. (as if anyone wants to be thought of as a greedy pig, sexually) The switch thing came way later, I started out as a subbie and was trained to Top by my former Mistress. *shrugs* I wish that combo was as easy to carry off as most people (that I have met in R/L) *think* it is.

If there is a world in which I could be mistaken for a woman, I do not want to live in that world.

Meh, I'm not really a liberal. I get called that by those what call themselves conservatives, but the liberals don't want me. The Libertarians do, but, wow, they're messed up. So I call myself a minarchist and small "l" libertrian, and even those labels suck.

I cannot even begin to imagine why. Fucking poly was tough as shit, and I was still maintaining a single set of identifiers. Being a Dom is difficult. Having to handle submission with some and dominance with others, and dealing wit the emotional baggage of each? Ugh.
